Privacy Policy

AuraRoyale is a game about scoring a five second move. This page explains, in plain language, exactly what we collect and what we do not.

We never collect or upload video or photos. Your footage is processed entirely on your device and never leaves it.

What we collect

When you play, three things are sent to our server:

An anonymous device identifier. A random value created by the app on your phone. It is not your name, your email, your phone number, or an advertising identifier, and it cannot be traced back to you.
A short display name. There is no field to type one in. If you are signed in to Game Center the app reuses that display name, and if you are not it uses a house default. You are never asked for a real name, and there is no account, password, or sign up.
Pose landmark data and scores. A short list of body joint coordinates describing how your body moved during the five seconds, plus the number your performance scored.

Pose landmarks are numbers, not pictures. They describe where a shoulder or a wrist was, frame by frame. They cannot be turned back into an image of you, your face, or your surroundings.

What we never collect

No video. No photos. No audio.
No face data, no biometric identification, no appearance or body rating.
No contacts, no health data, no browsing history.
No GPS and no precise location. The app has no location permission and never asks for one. Google works out a rough region from your IP address for ad delivery, which is why coarse location appears on our App Store privacy label. That is Google's, it is not precise, and we never see it.
No email address or password, because there are no accounts.

The camera runs on your phone and the scoring runs on your phone. Your recording stays in the app on your device, and it is deleted when you leave the screen unless you choose to save or share it yourself.

Why we hold anything at all

Pose landmarks and scores exist so you can battle other players. When you face an opponent, we send you their skeleton and their score so your phone can replay their move as an animated character. That is the whole reason the data leaves your device.

Your display name is not part of that. In this version of the app it is never shown to another player: opponents, the daily bracket, and the leaderboard all appear under house names such as Flame Keeper or Pale Rival. Yours is used to identify you to yourself, and nothing else.

AuraRoyale shows ads. They come from Google AdMob, which acts as our advertising provider, and you will see them between rounds and as an optional video you can choose to watch for a reward.

The ads are not personalized. We ask Google for non personalized ads on every single request. The creatives you see are chosen from the context of the app and rough region, not from a profile of you.
We do not use an advertising identifier to profile you. There is no cross app or cross site tracking, and we do not build an advertising profile, sell your data, or use it to train models.
The app never shows the "Allow tracking" prompt. There is no tracking permission string in the app, so iOS cannot present that prompt to you and the advertising identifier the app can read is all zeroes. This is not a promise you have to take on trust: an app without that string is not able to ask.
Ads are rated for a general audience. We cap the content rating so the creatives stay inside the age rating of the app.

Google is the processor here and handles ad delivery under its own terms. Google describes the data it collects, including the coarse region it derives from an IP address, in its privacy and terms for partner sites and apps. Because Google is in the app, our App Store privacy label lists what Google declares as well as what we collect, which is why you will see advertising data, product interaction, and coarse location on it. Those are Google's, not ours, and none of them is pose data or footage.

Buying Remove Ads, or Aura Royale Pro, turns ads off completely. No banners, no video between rounds, nothing. The ad code stops running.

What we do not do

We do not track you across apps or websites.
We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties.
We do not build advertising profiles or use your data to train models.
We never send your footage, your pose data, or your scores to an ad network.

Data is stored on our own server and is protected in transit by HTTPS.

How to delete your data

Email privacy@auraroyale.app from any address and include the device identifier shown in the app under Settings. We will delete your player record, your performances, and your battle history within 30 days and confirm by reply. Deleting the app also stops any further data being sent.

Age

AuraRoyale carries a 12+ age rating and is intended for people aged 12 and over. It is not directed at children under 12 and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child under 12 has used the app, email us and we will remove the record.

Changes

If this policy changes we will update this page and change the date at the top. Meaningful changes will also be announced in the app.
